INTELLECTUAL SELF-CHECKING STARTER-GENERATOR Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H02K7/18 H02K51/00 H02K29/12 G08C19/06

Abstract RU 2654209 C2

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used to determine the rotational speed and rotor position of an electric generator, which is part of the self-checking starter-generator. In the intellectual self-checking starter generator a resonant parallel LC circuit is used as the rotor position sensor, the change in the amplitude of the output signal of the sensor is fixed by the measuring system, self-checking is carried out thanks to current sensors, installed in each phase of the intelligent starter-generator and controlling the flowing current. If the current exceeds the permissible value, the generator mode is automatically turned on, which is provided by inductive rotor position sensors.

EFFECT: technical result consists in increase in the accuracy of the formation of continuous information about the angular position of the rotor in relation to stator motors or generators with a controlled mechanical characteristic, as well as determining the initial position of the rotor of electrical machines.
