FIELD: crane construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to portal cranes, in particular to mobile portal cranes. Crane contains a portal, an upper turning structure and running trolleys connected to the portal. Portal has a modular design and is connected via the connection modules to the traveling trolleys, that they together form a structure with a ground clearance for the passage of freight transport. Portal comprises a central box-shaped module carrying a swivel assembly and having end openings, and also connecting rods extending beyond the end openings for fastening various connecting modules to the ends of the central module, sides or bottom side.
EFFECT: improved portal crane consisting of assembled modules is achieved.
