FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a mechanical deformation sensor based on amorphous ferromagnetic microwires. The sensor for measuring mechanical deformations comprises a rectangular plate made with cross-sections that allow it to stretch in the longitudinal direction, an additionally inserted miniature solenoid is placed in the seat of the rectangular plate, connected to the third pair of contact pads within which the magnetically sensitive element is located. A miniature solenoid is connected through the third pair of contact pads to a DC power source. The AC source is connected through the first pair of contact pads with an amorphous ferromagnetic microwire and is designed as an AC generator of frequency f. The signal amplifier of differential measuring coil amplifies the frequency signals 2f.
EFFECT: increasing the system sensitivity.
