SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road-building machinery and is intended for compaction of building materials. Roller of the vibrating roller contains a shaft connected to the roller and fastened with rubber shock absorbers to the frame of the vibrating roller. Two pairs of unbalanced shafts are rotatably mounted on the shaft, the axes of which are perpendicular to the axis of the roller in such a way that the axes of the first pair of the unbalanced shafts are located in the vertical plane, and the axes of the second pair are symmetrical to the line passing in the middle between the axes of the first pair of the unbalanced shafts, the ends of which are equipped with identical large gears engaged in one another, the ends of the unbalanced shafts of the second pair are equipped with small gears twice as small as in the first pair, one of the gears of the second pair engages the gear of the lower unbalanced shaft of the first pair above its axis, and the other engages with the gear of the upper unbalanced shaft below its axis, with the same horizontal orientation of the imbalances of the first pair of the shafts, the imbalances of the second pair of the shafts are directed vertically in one direction. In addition, annular projections are provided on the outer surface of the roller shell.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing energy costs for compacting the material, increasing productivity and reducing the weight of the rollers.
