FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laser equipment. Method for sealing a cooling unit of an active element in a solid-state laser involves two steps: installing a tube for the active element and installing the active element in the tube, in the first stage, the tube is installed with clamps and seals, in the second stage, the active element is placed in the tube, clamps and seals of the active element. At each stage, the clamps are pressed against the body and to each other, successively heating and cooling the cooling unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing the possibility of reliable sealing of the cooling unit.
