FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the gas industry and can be used in the operation of underground gas storage facilities (UGSF). Method includes a cyclic action on the formation in which each cycle involves injecting gas through production wells into the formation, followed by gas extraction. In each cycle, the current formation pressure is periodically measured at the same time (Ptf) and the volume of gas extraction/pumping (qt), then, taking into account the measured parameters, the design pressure (Ptr) at time t, after which the function (F) is determined as the arithmetic mean of the deviations (Ptr) from (Ptf), obtained for each i-th dimension. In this case, the current formation pressure (Ptf) is measured in the dome part of the formation, the design pressure is determined by iteration at different values of the gas-saturated pore volume of the formation (Ω0), loss factor of gas (Cp) and the formation water activity coefficient (Cv) for the operation of UGSF with water-pressure regime or at different values (Ω0) and (CP) for the operation of underground gas storages with a gas regime. Iteration is performed until the minimum value of the function (F) is reached, after which, taking into account the resulting gas loss factor (Cp), the gas losses (qtn) in the UGSF at time t.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the accuracy of gas accounting in the storage facility, the reliability of the UGSF and the provision of design indicators for the operation of UGSF.
