FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil and gas industry, in particular for the production of oil or gas in areas with permafrost, and can be used in other industries in the pipe insulation for the transportation of coolants. Thermal insulated column includes coaxially located outer and inner pipes with thermal insulation between them and couplings. Wherein an outer tube is installed with the possibility of compensation of linear extensions. In this case, the thermal insulated column is configured to control the heat flows within the well. In an annular space of the outer and inner tubes, thermoelectric elements are installed, wound with a wire or tape to fix them with respect to an inner tube. Ends of the inner and outer tubes are offset relative to each other and are connected by means of an adapter which is provided with a cable connector for supplying the thermoelectric elements and is connected by an external screw joint to a coupling. End of the inner tube protruding above the end of the outer tube and the end portion of the outer tube are joined by an adapter via a detachable connection.

EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of technical means, increasing the efficiency of thermal insulation of wells and expanding the functionality through the management of heat flow and its reduction in the annular space of the well, to prevent thawing of permafrost, or, if necessary, heating the annular space of the well.
