VORTEX AIR FLOW CONCENTRATOR Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC F03D3/04

Abstract RU 2655422 C1

FIELD: energy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering. Vortex air flow concentrator consists of wind-guiding elements, in which the output edge of the root part of one wind-guiding element faces the input edge of the root part of the next wind-guiding element, forming a working zone surrounded by wind-guiding elements, while winding the wind-guiding elements from the root parts to the end parts deploys the output edges and inclines the wind-guiding elements to said working zone of the vortex concentrator.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing the length of the wind energy transmission path from the inlet to the concentrator to the turbine, at increasing the area of the air flow capture with increased altitude, at minimizing the negative effect of slowing down the air flow after the transfer of part of the energy to the turbine.
