FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: mirror can be used in laser technology, optoelectronics, information and power optics, in optical location and search systems. Mirror comprises a composite substrate, containing silicon, silicon carbide and silicon, a silicon-containing separation layer and a reflective layer. Substrate is made of separate elements, bonded to each other by a ceramic bond containing a diamond, silicon carbide and silicon in the ratio: diamond - 30-50 vol%, silicon carbide - 20-60 vol%, silicon - 3-40 vol%, and the separation layer is made of silicon. Method comprises providing a substrate of a diamond-containing composite material, forming on its surface the separation layer, optical processing and application of the reflective layer. Substrate is obtained by assembling individual elements, preformed by forming a diamond powder with a temporary binder and impregnation with liquid silicon, and subsequent conjugation of the assembled elements by the formation of a bond, wherein the bond comprises a diamond, silicon carbide and silicon, by filling the joints between the elements with a diamond powder suspension in a temporary binder solution and impregnating the suspension-filled joints with a liquid silicon.
EFFECT: technical result is a simplified technology of manufacturing thereof.
