VERTICAL POLARIZATION ANTENNA Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H01Q9/18

Abstract RU 2655638 C1

FIELD: antenna equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna-feeder devices, namely to vertical polarization antennas for radio communication along the Earth's surface. Vertical polarization antenna comprises a metal mast with an emitter attached to the upper end of the mast by means of the first metal jumper link. Emitter consists of two rods, located parallel to the metal mast at distances which are much smaller than the length of the working wave. Ends of the rods are connected to each other by a second metal jumper link. Input coaxial cable is laid along the metal mast and connected to it by an external conductor, and its central conductor is connected to the second metal jumper link. Gap is made between the feeder shell and jumper link at the feed points. Counterbalance is similar to the radiator and comprises a third metal jumper link, by means of which the upper ends of the rods are connected to the metal mast. Length of the rods is approximately ¼ of the wavelength of the lower edge of the working range. On the insulators opposite the point of connection of the input coaxial cable, passive elements are installed, the distance between which is less than a quarter of the working frequency range wave.

EFFECT: technical result is increased amplification factor in the direction of the horizon, expanded working range, increased strength for operation under severe climatic conditions, and reduced parasitic influence of the metal mast.
