FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement technology and can be used to adjust and verify radar level gauges. Method of adjustment and verification of radar level gauges is based on a simulation of level measurement in a horizontal plane by successively reproducing several predetermined distances between a flat reflector and a radar level gauge. At that in order to reproduce the specified distances exceeding the length of the stand, the multiply reflected signals between the flat reflector and the additional flat reflector are used and allocated and use to measure the current given distance, the re-reflected signals of the corresponding multiplicity of the re-reflectors. Stand for adjustment and verification of radar level gauges contains post 1, which is made with the possibility to mount level gauge 2, support 3, flat reflector 4 fixed to the support perpendicular to straight line 5 passing through the centers of the flat reflector and antenna opening 6 of level gauge 2, horizontal moving device 7, distance measuring means 8 and additional flat reflector 9.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in reducing the cost of the stand while reducing the measurement time.
