SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural production, namely to devices for preparing feeds for various groups of animals. Extruder consists of a cylindrical body with an auger installed in it, having a front and back covers with apertures for the screw shaft and unloading the finished product, a hopper with a window, a drive motor. To increase the degree of chopping straw and the time of processing the forage mass on the shaft of the auger, rectangular grinding ledges are installed and fixed. Above the loading hopper window, there is a device for supplying alkali to the straw entering the working area of the extruder for processing.

EFFECT: use of the invention will improve the quality of the final product.
