SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical devices, more particularly to a coagulator cuvette. Cuvette for determining fluid sample coagulation time comprises a side wall and a bottom forming a container and is arranged to accommodate a ball therein for stirring the fluid sample and indicating a change in sample viscosity, lower part of the inner surface of the cuvette has a cylindrical shape, and inside the container, at least one roughness region is formed. And at least one roughness region is located on the inner surface of the side wall of the cuvette, wherein the Ra roughness value is between 0.2 and 0.8 mcm; in the central part of the bottom of the cuvette a conical boss is made, the boss height is between 4 and 13 % of the diameter of the inner surface of the cuvette in its lower part; a fillet is made along the perimeter of the bottom of the inner surface of the cuvette. Fillet, boss, inner surface of the bottom of the cuvette and inner surface of the side wall of the cuvette are configured to provide a circular rotation of a spherical ball of diameter d of 50 to 65 % of the diameter of the inner surface of the cuvette in its lower part (D), located so that the shortest distance from the surface of the fillet to the surface of the ball is from 2 to 10 % of D value, and shortest distance n from the surface of the bottom to the surface of the ball is from 0.40 to 3.25 % of D value. Also disclosed is a device for determining fluid sample coagulation time.
