METHOD FOR ASSESSING SEVERITY OF INFLAMMATORY PELVIC DISEASES Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2602914 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gynaecology and haemostasis, and can be used for assessing severity of inflammatory pelvic diseases. Method comprises collecting venous blood and preparing blood plasma samples. Quantitative values of fibrinogen levels FG (g/l), soluble fibrin-monomer complexes SFMC (mg/100 ml) and D-dimers (ng/ml) are determined. Obtained data are analysed by calculating coefficient K by formula If 4≤K≤6 mild severity is determined, if 6<K≤8 - moderate severity level, if K>8 - severe.

EFFECT: invention provides more objective clinical-laboratory assessment of degree of severity of inflammatory pelvic diseases when screening patients, enables selection on basis of obtained results place of further treatment in conditions of a patient examination room of an outpatient hospital, women's health clinics or gynaecological hospital.
