FIELD: separation or sorting of solid materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to screening surfaces for a vibrating screen and can be used to sift fractions of stones or gravel. Screening surface of a vibrating screen is formed from ribs extending from one end of the screening surface to the opposite end, wherein pins project perpendicularly from the ribs on opposite sides of each rib, ending at a distance from the adjacent rib. Pin protruding from one rib is placed in the middle between two pins protruding from the adjacent rib. Dimension and placement of the pins are such that a continuous hole is formed between the two adjacent ribs. Pins on each side of the ribs are placed at an equal interval and distance (a) between adjacent pins on adjacent ribs is the same as distance (b) between the free end of each pin and the adjacent rib and distance (c) at which the two adjacent pins on adjacent ribs pass by each other. Each rib is raised above the top surface of each pin.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced clogging of holes in the screening surface and higher productivity.
