FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the railway transport, and more particularly to the locomotives traction motors cooling system flexible air ducts for the air supply between the locomotive body and bogies. Flexible duct contains a flexible sleeve with necks formed by the sewing seams, transverse stiffeners, which impart a tubular shape to the flexible hose, and connecting flanges attached to the flexible hose necks. Flexible hose is made of two layers of dense waterproof and water-repellent high-strength textile fabric, attached to each other by sewing-together along the edge with a closed connecting overlaid sewing seam and the network of reinforcing connecting patches of sewing seams superimposition over the fabric area, by the tubular structure formation by imposing a longitudinal connecting sewing seam “in the lock”, and along the flexible sleeve neck is by the edging sewing seam.

EFFECT: achieved are increase in the operation reliability, increase in the operation time and reduction in the labor intensity in the flexible duct maintenance and current repair with its manufacturing from the traditional materials, such as canvas cloth.
