AIR DUCT FOR COOLING SYSTEM AND VENTILATION OF TRACTION MOTORS OF LOCOMOTIVES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B61D27/00 B61C17/04 H02K9/00

Abstract RU 2689393 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flexible pipelines for use as connection pipes between cooling fans located in locomotive body, and traction motors (TM) installed in locomotive bogies. Technical result is achieved by the fact that air duct contains connecting flanges 1, flexible sleeve 2 fixed on flanges 1, made in the form of elastic shell of rectangular cross-section from composite material PC-40, which is organosilicon composition reinforced with aramid fibers, and is equipped with stiffeners 3. PC-40 material has single-layer organosilicon coating on fabric base-substrate of aramid, which has linen weaving. Fabric warp threads are directed at angle of 45° relative to vertical axis. Stiffeners 3 are made in the form of metal frame and are uniformly located on surface of air duct shell. Connecting flanges 1 are equipped with elastic gaskets 4 and fastening holes 5.

EFFECT: improving strength properties, fire-resistance and frost-resistance of air duct material due to qualitative and quantitative ratio of components entering the air duct material.
