FIELD: sewing industry, in particular, methods for connecting of clothing parts by means of thread.

SUBSTANCE: method involves connecting clothing parts with the use of edge strip with free cuts; placing edge strip onto part and, thereafter, providing first stitch in parallel with edge strip, at distance therefrom equal to fabric seam allowance for connecting part with edge strip; providing running by edge strip of fabric seam allowance and making second stitch to connect part with free end of edge strip, with edge strip cut being disposed in spaced relation to part cut, when edge strip is laid onto part, said space being multiple the fabric seam allowance; folding formed part allowance along edge strip cut through 180 deg and providing first stitch along folded part allowance so as to form free end of part allowance; folding this free end in reverse direction relative to first stitch, during running by edge strip of fabric seam allowance. Second stitch is made decorative.

EFFECT: simplified method allowing clothing part cut to be processed simultaneously with formation of relief decorative member rendering decorative features to clothing piece.
