SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sport bicycles, in particular to the rear bicycle gear switches. Rear bicycle gear selector includes a bracket and a switch housing. On the bracket through the axes, the inner and outer levers of the hinged parallelogram and the rotary bushing are installed. Rotary bushing is formed for fastening the drive cable with a breakout lug and a return torsion spring for changing gears. Bearing bushing, a guide roller with bearings and a spacer washer, a return spring of the chain tension and a clamping screw screwed into the rotary plate are mounted on the switch housing. On the inner lever of the hinged parallelogram there is a protrusion with an aperture, which allows, when tensioning or loosening the drive cable to the same values in the longitudinal direction, move the guide roller for equal distances in the transverse direction.

EFFECT: improvement in the performance of the gear selector is achieved.
