FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method for obtaining a biosorbent and a biosorbent for purifying water from hydrocarbon pollution are proposed. Method comprises pre-drying of the peat milled to fractions of 1–1.5 mm at 40–50 °C to a humidity of not more than 3 %, pyrolysis under vacuum at a temperature of 210–250 °C, then its introduction into the suspension of the consortium of oil-oxidizing microorganisms of the strains Candida maltosa VKPM Y-3446 and Dietzia maris VKPM Ac-1824, taken in the ratio 1:1. Biosorbent is produced by this method.
EFFECT: inventions provide an increase in the sorption capacity of the biosorbent and increase the efficiency of cleaning reservoirs from hydrocarbon pollution.
