FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for application of a chemical nickel coating on polyetheretherketone and can be used in radio engineering industry, instrument making, aviation industry. Method is based on polyetheretherketone degreasing in an alcohol-nefrasovoy mixture at the ratio of alcohol and nefras 1:1 for 3 min and additional chemical degreasing in a solution of the composition, g/l: sodium hydroxide 7–10, soda ash 15–20, trisodium phosphate 20–30, syntanol 3–5, at a temperature of (60–70) °C for 5 minutes, washing in hot running water, washing in cold running water, etching in a solution of g/l: chromium anhydride 380–420, sulfuric acid (ρ=1.84 g/cm3), ml/l 380–420, at a temperature of 70 °C for 10 min, sensitization in the solution at a temperature of 15–25 °C for 7–10 minutes, washing in cold running water, activating, drying in an oven before completely drying at a temperature of 50–80 °C and applying the chemical nickel coating, washing in hot running water, washing in cold running water and drying.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a uniform continuous nickel coating on polyetheretherketone.
