FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to weapons, namely, to the development of combat parts for ammunition (shells, grenades, mines) and missiles. Combat part consists of a body, a fuse, a charge and striking elements located between the body and the charge. At that, the striking elements are made of ceramic material and are made in the form of volumetric polyhedral figures connected to each other in a single block occupying the entire space between the charge and the body. Striking elements are made in the form of three-or tetrahedral prisms, connected together by means of a radio-transparent or radio-absorbing adhesive material, which layer thickness is 0.05–1 mm. Striking elements can be interconnected by a jumper from the base material. Striking elements can be made of a ceramic material based on alumina or silicon nitride. Combat part body is made of basalt fiber or other radio transparent material.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the combat unit striking capability, as well as in ensuring of its radio transparency.
