FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for constructing a building with improved thermal insulation and a building constructed using this method. Building with improved thermal insulation, in which at least some of the walls (1a, 1b, 2, 3) are mainly formed by panels of low-density thermally insulating material. Panels (10) have edge surfaces which are uniformly planar over an entire thickness thereof and are assembled to one another by interleaving boards (20) at the level of the joint area between the two adjacent panels, the boards (20) being in contact with panels (10) over an entire length and width of the edge surfaces at the level of said joint areas. Panels (10) are connected to boards (20) by an adhesive and/or by sealing or clamping them between boards (20) mounted on opposite edge surfaces of the panels, by screwing one board to the other through the width of panel (10) inserted between said boards, using long wood screws, or by using shackles.

EFFECT: improved thermal insulation of the building.
