FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of building materials, namely to production of a lightweight hollow core for building materials based on rice processing waste, and can be used as a filler for heat and soundproof materials and backfill in various building structures for insulation. Method for producing hollow pellets comprises obtaining a core from the composition, by weight: rice husk 10–20, water 78–87, polyvinyl alcohol 0.5–1.5, biocomposite material based on levan 1.5, forming on it a shell of a fast-hardening astringent system from a pulverulent filler with the following ratio, wt%: core is 30–40, pulverulent filler 60–70. Shell is formed by rolling the core in a pulverized filler, and hardening of the shell is carried out by drying the granules to a set strength of 0.48–1.3 MPa. Invention is developed in dependent items of the formula.

EFFECT: obtaining quality hollow granules, utilization of agricultural waste.
