FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of structural design of high-temperature reactor of plants intended for volume metalation of porous materials. Reactor of a plant for metalation of billets comprises a reactor vessel and a lining. Lining contains an uncooled metal shell in front the vessel installed inside the reactor vessel with a gap with respect to it, forming together with the reactor vessel a sealed chamber in front of the vessel, separate previously sealed shells, that horizontally located along the height of the reactor vessel,between them damper gaskets are installed. End sections of sealed shells are connected to the corresponding sections of the shell in front of the vessel and form together with them sealed toroidal-shaped chambers, inside which are containers of heat-resistant material, filled with heat-insulating material and closed with covers, provided with apertures for connecting them to sealed chamber in front of the vessel, that has a connection from a reactor vessel side for connection to a vacuum system. Toroidal-shaped chambers have a profile forming a part of the length of the channels for measuring the temperature inside the reactor. Shell in front of the vessel has holes coaxial with the channels indicated, that are aligned with the holes in the metal sleeves connecting the shell in front of the vessel with the reactor vessel.
EFFECT: ensures an increase in the probability of obtaining positive results according the degree of metalation of bulky billets by vapor-liquid, alternative liquid-phase and combined methods of metalation.
