FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: stator of a two-phase induction motor contains two insulated wires arranged in grooves and equal in number of sections of sections. Sections of one group differ from sections by another number of turns in √3 times and wire cross section by √3 times. From the sections of each group, a single-phase winding is formed by connecting them. Axes of single-phase windings are shifted by 90 electric degrees. In the grooves of the stator core, additional sections of insulated wire are laid. All additional sections are formed by the same number of turns of wire of the same section. Of the total number of additional sections, one half of them are located in the grooves of the stator core, in which the sections of one single-phase winding are laid, and the second one is located in the grooves in which the sections of the second single-phase winding are located. Placement of each half of the additional sections along the grooves and the scheme of their connection are similar to those for laying and connecting sections of the corresponding single-phase windings. Leads of the windings formed by connecting the first and second halves of the additional sections are connected to capacitors with the same capacitance value.
EFFECT: compensation of magnetizing currents.
