FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radar, namely to systems for the formation and processing of broadband signals with frequency and phase modulation in pulsed radars with antenna arrays, and can be used in aviation for the organization of air traffic. This result is achieved by providing in the transmitting channel radars the formation of pulse signals in the form of a sequence of elements of the derived signal system based on the Barker and Walsh codes, due to the amplification and emission of radio signals to the transmitting modules of the antenna array, and in the receiving channel of radar – due to the reception and amplification of broadband radio signals by the receiving modules of the antenna array, and also due to the multichannel correlation processing of the pulse signals modulated by the derived signal system elements based on the Barker and Walsh codes, delays of signals in each correlation processing channel for combining them in time, summing signals and making a decision on the presence of signals reflected from air objects.

EFFECT: increasing the technical characteristics of pulsed radars with antenna arrays in terms of increasing the range of target detection, increase of noise immunity, resolving power and accuracy of distance measurement, efficient use of signal frequency spectra.
