FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and specifically to transmission of discrete information by broadband wireless communication systems. Proposed method comprises generation on the transmitting side of a frequency-modulated Doppler-invariant signal, use thereof as a carrier wave, encoding each transmitted alphabet symbol ai, individual time shift τ of the carrier oscillation argument origin, transmitting the modulated signal through the communication line. At the receiving side, the energy sums of the cross-correlation functions Y(τ) of the input signal with quadrature standards of frequency-modulated signals with given parameters and different time shifts τi origin of carrier oscillation signals. Received symbol is assigned the value ai, for which the found energy sum of the cross-correlation signal processing Y(τi) turned out to be maximum.
EFFECT: invention is intended to increase noise immunity by providing a high level of signal/noise ratio.
