FIELD: mobile devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method of applying the mobile processing device for processing check marks in the document, which has the preformatted fields for input of the check marks. Method comprises application of the digital camera, which is associated with the device in order to generate the first electronic file, which contains the two-dimensional digitized image of the document; and application of the device in order to (a) detect the document identifiers and markers in the first file, the markers determine the location and orientation of the fragments, which contain the preformatted fields; (b) generate the second file, in which the two-dimensional digitized image is changed in accordance with the digital document template; (c) apply the digital template in order to retrieve the digitized images of previously formatted fields from the second file; and (d) detect the presence of check marks in the digitized images of preformatted fields based on the analysis of pixels in them that do not refer to the background.

EFFECT: technical result is to accelerate the processing of documents.
