FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the textile industry, to the field of nonwoven fabric manufacture, and can be used to create filter elements of gas-dust collecting plants. Filtering non-woven fabric consists of a fibrous web, fastened with loops of warp knitted fabric fibers, which contains a base layer of modified capron fiber and an additional layer consisting of a mixture of a modified capron fiber and a high-shrinkage fiber, wherein an additional layer consisting of a mixture of modified capron fiber and a high-shrinkage fiber is disposed above the base layer of the modified capron fiber, the content of high-shrinkage fibers in the additional layer being 10–20 % by weight, and the ratio of the main and additional layers by mass is 1:(0.1–0.2), in addition, there are relief bumps on the surface of the fibrous web, the height of which is 10–12 mm, which are formed as a result of heat treatment of the filtering material at a temperature of 100–110 °C.
EFFECT: proposed filtering material makes it possible to increase the protective properties of both solid particles and gases by obtaining a developed working filtering surface at the required flow rate of the gas-air mixture to be purified.
