SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of infocommunications, namely, to the provision of information security of digital communication systems. Method of masking the structure of the communication network comprises the following sequence of actions: pre-defining the parameters of the communication network, setting the priority numbers of the false exchange, setting the maximum number of false packages to be transmitted for each priority number. Current addresses of the sender and of the recipient are selected, the source package of messages is formed at the sender’s location and then the message package is sent to the recipient, then the new current sender and receiver addresses are selected at the sender’s location. False package of messages is formed at the sender’s location and sent to the recipient. If the recipient address belongs to the multitude of sender addresses, the response message package is formed and transmitted. From the message packaged, which was received by the recipient, the addresses of the sender and recipient are selected, the encoded data are selected and decoded. Information on new current addresses of the sender and recipient is formed at the recipient.

EFFECT: technical result is to increase the effectiveness of masking the initial structure of the communication network, which makes it almost impossible to identify message packages relative to the specific network user and to open the network structure.
