FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: method of masking the structure of a communication network is intended for use in information and communication systems in order to increase the secrecy of communication, the timeliness of delivery of message packets to receiving subscribers, as well as to reduce the overload of network subscribers with masking messages in distributed communication networks built on the basis of a public data transmission network such as the Internet, and ensures the achievement of the technical result by introducing false subscribers of the communication network, implementing a masking exchange between true and between false subscribers of the communication network, taking into account the transmission rate of masking message packets, applications used by subscribers, and the category of importance of communication network nodes.
EFFECT: improving the performance of masking the structure of the communication network.
