FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and can be used in electric drives with frequency converters. In the frequency converter control method, the direction of rotation of the motor rotor is determined before starting with respect to the direction of rotation in the operating mode by determining the sequence of phase alternation of the EMF winding of the stator, then with the direction of reverse rotation of the motor rotor in relation to control signals are applied to the direction of rotation in the operating mode, at the output of the frequency converter forming a system of three-phase voltages with a frequency corresponding to the frequency of the reverse rotation of the electric motor rotor, with further smooth reduction of the frequency to zero value and frequency start from the zero speed and with such sequence of phases alternation, which corresponds to rotation in the operating mode.
EFFECT: technical result is the expansion of functionality and reliability.
