THYRATRON ELECTRIC MOTOR Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2237341 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering, namely thyratron electric motors.

SUBSTANCE: thyratron electric motor includes passive salient-pole rotor having n poles; stator having 2n poles carrying concentrated on poles n-phase winding whose sections are connected with outlet of n-phase inverter. The last includes transistors arranged in the form of connected in parallel cells whose phase windings are arranged on poles of stator. Inverter has twice reduced number of transistors. Each pole of stator is provided in addition with basic winding. Basic windings connected with base of transistor of each phase are arranged in different poles of stator of its own and previous (according to alternation order) phases and they are connected in series mutually opposite.

EFFECT: simplified circuit and design of electric motor.
