Proposed method of policy management and charging includes: when the functional element of the implementation of policies and charging rules (PCRF) is selected as the PCRF of the user by the functional element of the execution of policies and tariffs (PCEF), sending the PCRF and the user corresponding to the PCRF to the storage device and/or when the PCEF determines the PCRF, selected for the user, sending the PCRF selected for the user by the PCEF functional element, to the memory (S1402); obtaining the functional element of the application (AF) of the functional element PCRF, selected for the user by the PCEF functional element, from the memory (S1404); and the implementation by the functional element AF of policy management and charging for the user by using the obtained PCRF (S1406).

EFFECT: method, device and device guarantee that the functional elements of the PCRF used by AF and PCEF are the same.
