FIELD: hydraulic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: pressure culvert with the vertical flow outlet socket type end section relates to the field of hydraulic equipment, namely to the pressure culverts structural elements, and can be used as the pressure closed culvert, water outlet, water outlet or drainage outlet flow energy damper on hydro systems with medium and high heads. Device comprises pressurized water conduit with the installed above its outlet opening 2 flow reflector 1, which rests against the vertical wall 4, which in plan repeats the reflector 1 outline. Flow reflector 1 is made in the form of a part of the paraboloid of revolution surface, obtained by the cross-section along its axis, which outline is described by the y=kx2 function, where k is the real number from 0.05 to 0.15. Height of the vertical wall 4, against which the reflector 1 is resting is made variable in height, and makes from 0 at the reflector exit section to 0.5d at the paraboloid vertex, where d is the pressure water conduit diameter.
EFFECT: device enables the specific flow rates uniform distribution along the outflow channel width and facilitates the stream from the reflector diversion to the safe distance.
