SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a mechanism for differential locking of a vehicle. In the differential gear, the torque from the satellite gears to the side gears is transmitted through intermediate gears or cluster gears, each of which is engaged with one satellite gear and one side gear. Axis of rotation of the differential gear housing and the axis of rotation of the side gears mismatch. Intermediate gears or cluster gears are installed on the shafts that secure the differential gear housing to the case with the ability to transfer torque from the satellite gears to the side gears. Gears, synchronized with the satellite gears, are engaged with each other and installed in the internal cavity of the differential gear housing. Differential gear can be locked by engaging the intermediate gear hub or the cluster gear hub with the differential gear housing.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the differential locking mechanism of the wheeled vehicle is achieved.
