FIELD: recycling and disposal of waste.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of ash and slag wastes of TPP in order to extract rare earth metals and scandium from them and then use them in the production of building materials. Method of are earth metals and scandium extraction from ash and slag wastes involves percolation leaching with sulfuric acid. In this case, leaching is carried out from the granulated material with a sulfuric acid solution of 5–15 g/l at a temperature of 18–25 °C and Zh:T = 2:1–1:1 in the mode of recirculation of the productive solution in the closed leaching-sorption cycle. Then sorption of the sum of rare-earth metals with sulphocathionite based on the sulfate solution of leaching is carried out, then sorption of scandium with aminophosphorus-containing ampholyte based on sorption filters of rare-earth metals. Filtrate treated with sorbents is returned to percolation leaching.
EFFECT: creation of a rational, economical, technological, environmentally safe integrated, on-line technology for the utilization of ash and slag wastes from the TPP.
