SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method indicative on slipping or wheel slip of vehicles with electric traction. Method for detecting the slipping and wheel slip of a vehicle with an electric DC transmission is as follows. Sensor output of one of the circuit parameters of the traction motor is subjected to a spectral analysis. As a result of the analysis, the amplitude-frequency characteristic of the signal is determined and the level of the amplitudes of the harmonic components of the signal is controlled. As a circuit parameter of the traction motor, the voltage drop across the poles windings of the traction motor is used. Slipping and wheel slip are determined by increasing the relative power of the harmonic components of the amplitude-frequency spectrum of the sensor output in a limited frequency band determined by the inertial characteristics of the traction drive of the vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention consists in increasing the sensitivity of the system for detecting the slipping and wheel slip of a vehicle with a power transmission.
