FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method refers to information technologies used in educational process as training equipment, in particular when testing trainees in order to determine conformity of competencies formed to the requirements of federal state educational standard (FSES). Method automates process of verification of hypothesis about absence of correlation between answers of the trainees with the answers obtained by reference model by converting the answers of the trainees in signal compared with threshold level. Theoretical grounds for choosing a threshold value is a modification of method of checking statistical hypotheses based on detection of rank correlation.
EFFECT: method for assessing competency of trainee at a given level is proposed.
