FIELD: radio equipment and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio equipment, particularly to radio monitoring systems for determining the position of radio-frequency sources (PCRFS) of the VHF-microwave bands of both digital and analog communication types, information about which is not available in the database (for example, of the state radio frequency service). Method is based on the energy principle, which consists in the radio-emitting objects field strength measuring (or calculating) in several points of space with known coordinates of their location. At that, measuring the RFS field intensity on the SRCP, and in n VP is calculated by specifying its virtual antenna coordinates and parameters, radiation pattern and suspension height. When using n VPs, they are “placed” not on the same line as the SRCP and “spaced” from it by latitude and (or) by longitude for several angular minutes. Calculation of the VP from the RFS intensity is based on the field strengths correlation dependence principle, created in given frequency range by plurality of radio emission sources located in the SRCP electromagnetic accessibility zone, and calculated for both the SRCP and all specified VIs according to certain program.
EFFECT: achieved technical result is the PCRFS determination by one stationary radio control post (SRCP) and n equal to or more than three virtual posts (VPs).
