FIELD: radio engineering and communications.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio monitoring systems for both digital and analog communication types VHF-microwave bands radio-frequency sources position (PCRFS) determination. Method is based on the measurement of the parameters of the desired radio emission source (RES) in a single radio control post (RCP) and the calculation of the same parameters at the point, which location is assumed to be known, wherein the field strength of the desired RES and the azimuth are measured by applying the RCP to a log-periodic rotary antenna system (LPAS), coordinates of the virtual post (VP) location is set at a distance of several angular minutes relative to the RCP in the direction of the measured azimuth, field strength is calculated at the point of location of the RCP and VP created by each of the q basic radio-electronic facilities (q BREF), known by the applied RCP specified frequency range database and located in the sector of the measured azimuth, correlation dependence (CD) is established between the field intensity on the VP and the field strength on the RCP, according to the calculated strengths, position lines q equations in the form of the field strengths q circles equal relationships (CER) (Apollonia circle), independently created by each of the q BREF, are derived, equations of the azimuth rays emanating from the RCP and the VP for each of the q BREF are derived, and q coordinates of the BREF are redefined as the coordinates of the intersections of the CER with the rays directed from the RCP and the VP to q BREF, wherein calibration parameters (CP) of the RCP/VP pairs are determined in width (WCP) and length (LCD) as the dependences of the difference between the true and calculated coordinates of q BREF from the calculated ones, value of the field strength on the VP by CP and the value of the intensity measured from the RCP are calculated, the equation of the CER of these intensities (Apollonius circle) is derived, test coordinates of the desired RES are calculated as the coordinates of the intersection points of the CER with the rays emanating from the RCP and the VP, with measured and calculated azimuths on the RES, the calculated coordinates are averaged and corrected by CP, and then they are fixed as final coordinates. In addition, in order to increase the accuracy, the n-1 VP coordinates are additionally assigned, n pairs of RCP/VP and n of width (WCP) and length (LCP) calibration parameters are obtained, C2n+1 of the test values of the PCRFS is calculated, the calculated coordinates are corrected by CP, averaged and then fixed as final coordinates.
EFFECT: radio-frequency sources position determination by one radio control post (RCP).
