FIELD: lighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting equipment and can be used in the manufacture of lighting equipment for architectural illumination of buildings, sports grounds, theatrical and concert halls, city squares, airports, railway facilities. Housing-radiator of the LED spotlight comprises a thermally conductive cylindrical profile formed by an outer closed wall and, at least, one internal closed wall forming the main chamber, connected together by radial walls together forming peripheral internal chambers, the walls of which constitute through ventilation ducts, and a heat-conducting plate, pressed surface in the cavity of the main chamber, and the interface of the heat-conducting plate with the surface of the main chamber is configured to heat the surplus heat from the LED board. Components of the radiator housing have simple shapes and can be manufactured using known means of pressing the material.
EFFECT: technical result is the improved heat removal from radiation sources by creating an effective cooling airflow and efficient heat transfer between the heat-conducting plate and the wall of the cavity of the main chamber.
