SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to excavation machines with digging equipment. Excavating equipment bucket edge protective system segment includes the bucket bottom, the cutting plate with the bucket base rib, internal surface, external surface and bevelled base including: adjacent to the bucket base rib and internal surface bevelled surface. Excavating equipment also includes teeth assemblies made for attachment to the cutting plate on the bucket base rib, wherein the teeth assemblies are spaced apart along the bucket base rib. Edge protective system segment comprises the first side, the second side, located opposite and along the first side, segment with the width of up to 6 cm, where the width is the distance between the first side and the second side, wedge-shaped portion in the form of a triangular prism, extending between the first side and the second side, external projection extending from the wedge-shaped portion between the first side and the second side, internal projection extending from the wedge-shaped portion between the first side and the second side. Internal projection includes bevelled portion extending from the wedge-shaped portion at an angle from the external projection, and end portion extending from the bevelled portion and locking mechanism, configured to align the bucket protection system segment with adjacent bucket protection system segment. Locking mechanism includes locking protection extending from the first side and locking recess extending from the second side and having the locking protection shape.

EFFECT: technical result is the base rib protection against wear.
