FIELD: earthmoving equipment.

SUBSTANCE: crown assembly of a working tool with a support rib on the crown is declared. The crown assembly includes: an adapter adapted for mounting to the edge of a base of earthmoving equipment, and a protruding adapter cap. The crown of the earthwork tool contains: the back edge, the upper outer surface, the lower outer surface. The upper outer surface and the lower outer surface protrude forward from the back edge of the crown of the earthwork tool and converge with each other at the front edge of the crown of the earthwork tool. The first and second lateral outer surfaces extend forward from the back edge of the crown of the earthwork tool to the front edge. A cap cavity in the crown of the earthwork tool is formed by converging upper and lower outer surfaces and the first and second lateral outer surfaces and is adapted to receive the adapter cap. The cap cavity includes the first and second lateral inner surfaces opposite the first and second lateral outer surfaces, respectively. A profiled boss is located at least on one of the first and second lateral outer surfaces at the location of a hole, and the support rib on one of the first and second lateral outer surfaces is located at the back edge, and it extends longitudinally from the lower outer surface to the profiled boss.

EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the reliability and increased wear resistance of the crown tooth.
