FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: self-adhesive balancing weight contains a lower surface for attachment to the rim of the wheel, an opposite upper surface, two opposing long sides between the upper surface and the lower surface, two opposite short sides between long sides and between the upper surface and the lower surface. Balancing weight is an arc segment having a convex lower surface extending between the short sides, and the short sides have an angle of less than 90° to the bottom surface and an angle of more than 90° to the upper surface. In addition, the short sides have a convex shape from one long side to the other long side.
EFFECT: increase in the strength of the weights, as well as the applicability to a wide variety of geometries and rim sizes.
