FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to machine building. Balancing weights for balancing the vehicle wheel comprise body (92) of non-ferromagnetic material. Body provides most of the mass of the balancing weights. Ferromagnetic tab (95) ensures the retention of the balancing weights by means of a magnetic force. Ferromagnetic insert provides a smaller part of the weight of the balancing weights. Ferromagnetic insert is made in the form of a rod of cylindrical shape. Weights applicator (80) comprises magnet (82) for interacting with ferromagnetic insert (95) of balancer weights (90) and holding balancing weights (90). Method of manipulating the balancing weights includes holding the balance weight by means of a magnetic force on the head of the applicator.
EFFECT: simplification of manipulation during installation is achieved, increasing the accuracy of the installation in the specified position.
