FIELD: forestry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry, in particular to agroforestry, and can be used for seed afforestation of non-ground, crumbling, especially insolated and arid slopes, including slopes of gullies. Method of afforestation of slopes involves sowing seeds of woody plants. On the slope surface, a layer of straw 10–20 centimeters thick is applied in autumn and immediately spread seeds along it. After 3–5 days, the straw and the soil of the slope are treated with an agglutinant of organic composition. Straw is applied with a continuous coating or curtains.
EFFECT: method will reduce seed material costs, improve the uniformity of afforestation and reduce water erosion processes on the slope.
