FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental surgery and may be applicable to assessing the reliability of hemostasis after liver injury in small laboratory animals. Perform a dressing with 3-0 voric filament of the portal vein and the hepatic artery at the level of fusion of splenic and mesenteric veins, ligation of the inferior vena cava below the diaphragm between the renal and hepatic veins, and ligation of vena cava above the diaphragm after opening the thoracic cavity. Catheterization is performed above the site of the portal vein ligation by a catheter made of polyurethane or fluoroethylene propylene 24G with its fixation by 3-0 vicryl strand on the vessel and to the anterior abdominal wall. Liquid colored by diamond green is hydro-pressed with a device with a manometer. When squeezing blood clots out of the damaged vessels and after the colored liquid has flowed in the plane of the liver injury, the pressure of the hydropressive is determined on the manometer, which is taken as critical.
EFFECT: method allows to assess the quality of hemostasis in the wound of the liver.
