FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental surgery and can be used for modelling of hepetocirrhosis with syndrome of portal hypertension. For this purpose embolisation of branches of portal vein is performed in experimental animals by catheterisation of mesenteric or splenic vein by Seldinger with selective catheterisation of portal vein of liver with application of hemostatic sponge. Additionally performed is vena cava constriction more proximally than confluence of hepatic veins with obturation of mouths of hepatic veins. After that, 40% solution of carbon tetrachloride in sunflower oil is introduced subcutaneously in dose 2.0 ml/kg two times per week.
EFFECT: method ensures reduction of modelling time, increase of reproducibility of hepatocirrhosis with syndrome of portal hypertension, as well as provides possibility to study mechanisms of disease origination.
